Cosart-H Tablet is used to control high blood pressure in adults whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled by a single medicine.

• High Blood Pressure: Helps lower and control blood pressure in adults with hypertension.
• Combination Therapy: Used when losartan or hydrochlorothiazide alone is not enough.

Here's how to take Cosart-H Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not chew or crush it.

• Don't stop taking the medicine without consulting your doctor first.

Cosart-H Tablet is taken orally.

Cosart-H Tablet's effectiveness comes from two active components:

• Losartan (50 mg): This is an angiotensin receptor blocker. Its job is to block angiotensin II, a substance that can cause blood vessels to narrow. By preventing this narrowing, losartan helps to lower blood pressure.

• Hydrochlorothiazide (12.5 mg): As a thiazide diuretic, hydrochlorothiazide works on your kidneys. It increases the excretion of sodium, chloride, and water from your body. This leads to a reduction in the volume of your blood, which in turn helps to decrease your blood pressure.

• Always keep your Cosart-H Tablet in a tightly sealed container.

• Store it at room temperature, ideally between 15 to 30°C.

• Regular physical activity can lower your blood pressure, complementing the action of Cosart-H Tablet. Aim for moderate exercise, such as brisk walking or cycling, at least five days a week.
