These enzymes are essential for bacterial DNA replication, transcription, repair, and recombination. By blocking these enzymes, moxifloxacin prevents the multiplication and growth of bacteria.

• Prednisolone (1 %): This corticosteroid helps to reduce inflammation in your eyes by blocking the production of inflammatory substances like prostaglandins and leukotrienes. It does this by promoting the synthesis of a protein called lipocortin, which inhibits phospholipase A2, an enzyme that triggers inflammation.
