Coldact New Capsule 20 is used to relieve symptoms of the common cold, allergic rhinitis and other upper respiratory tract conditions. It is a combination medicine containing chlorpheniramine maleate (an antihistamine) and phenylephrine hydrochloride (a nasal decongestant).
It helps reduce sneezing, a runny or blocked nose, watery eyes and nasal congestion caused by allergies or colds. Take it in the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor, and continue it for the duration advised.
Drink plenty of fluids, get adequate rest, and use a humidifier or steam inhalation to ease nasal congestion. Avoid driving until you know whether it makes you drowsy.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, glaucoma, prostate enlargement or thyroid problems and about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Let your doctor know promptly if you have any problems during treatment. Follow the prescribed dose, frequency and duration, report persistent or serious side effects, and do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so.
