Clopivas AP 150 Tablet is used to prevent blood clots and reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke in people with heart disease. It is particularly important after a heart attack, stent placement, or bypass surgery.
It contains clopidogrel and aspirin, which work together to stop platelets from clumping and forming dangerous clots. Swallow the tablet whole as prescribed and do not stop it without medical advice, as stopping suddenly can increase the risk of a clot or stent blockage.
Because this medicine reduces blood clotting, take extra care to avoid unnecessary injury. Use a soft toothbrush, take care with sharp objects, and always tell any doctor, dentist, or pharmacist that you are taking this medicine before any procedure.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor about any history of bleeding, stomach ulcers, or liver disease, and about planned surgery. Tell your doctor about any unusual or heavy bleeding. It should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
