Preva AS 150 Tablet is used in adults with heart disease or a history of stroke to prevent blood clots and reduce the risk of future events.

Uses of Preva AS 150 Tablet are:

Preva As 150 Tablet 15 comprises two active ingredients:

• Clopidogrel (75 mg): It is metabolised by CYP450 enzymes in your liver to become active. The active metabolite selectively and irreversibly inhibits the P2Y12 component of ADP receptors on platelets. Consequently, it stops platelet activation and their ability to bind together to form clots.
• Aspirin (150 mg): It stops cyclooxygenase, reducing the production of prostaglandins that are known to promote inflammation and blood clotting. As a result, platelets become less sticky, and the likelihood of clot formation decreases.
