Cipmox CV 625 Tablet is used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections, including infections of the respiratory tract, ears, sinuses, urinary tract, skin and soft tissues, and bones and joints, caused by susceptible bacteria.
It contains amoxicillin, a penicillin antibiotic, and clavulanic acid, which protects amoxicillin from breakdown by certain bacterial enzymes. Take this tablet with food, as prescribed, to help reduce stomach upset. Complete the full prescribed course, even if you start feeling better, to help prevent the infection from returning and reduce the risk of antibiotic resistance.
Getting adequate rest and staying well hydrated during treatment can support your recovery. Avoid taking leftover or shared antibiotics, and do not use this medicine for viral infections such as the common cold.
Before starting this medicine, tell your doctor if you have an allergy to penicillin or cephalosporin antibiotics, a history of liver problems related to amoxicillin-clavulanic acid, or kidney disease. Contact your doctor immediately if you develop a severe skin rash, yellowing of the skin or eyes, or persistent diarrhoea, including after completing treatment.
