Ciplacef 1G Injection is used to treat various bacterial infections, including pneumonia, urinary tract infections, and bone infections. It contains ceftriaxone, an antibiotic that works by disrupting the formation of bacterial cell walls, leading to the death of the bacteria.
This injection also helps manage respiratory tract infections such as pneumonia, skin and soft tissue infections, urinary tract infections, sexually transmitted infections like gonorrhoea, intra-abdominal infections, bone and joint infections, meningitis and septicaemia (blood infection). It's also administered before certain surgeries to prevent post-operative infections. It is given by a healthcare professional.
