Cip-TZ Tablet interacts with the following medicines:

• Antacids and sucralfate: These medications can reduce the absorption of ciprofloxacin in your body. Medicines like aluminium hydroxide or magnesium hydroxide should be taken at least 2 hours before or 6 hours after Cip-TZ Tablet.
• Skeletal muscle relaxant: This muscle relaxant can interact with Cip-TZ Tablet, leading to potentially dangerous hypotension (low blood pressure) and sedation.
• CYP1A2 substrates: Medicines like theophylline, used for respiratory diseases, and clozapine, an antipsychotic medication, are metabolised by an enzyme called CYP1A2. As ciprofloxacin inhibits this enzyme, it may increase the levels of these medicines in your body.
• Blood thinners/anticoagulants: This anticoagulant medicine can interact with Cip-TZ Tablet. The effect of warfarin may be enhanced, so you'll need to monitor your blood clotting time (INR) closely.

Food rich in calcium, such as milk or cheese, can reduce the absorption of ciprofloxacin. Avoid consuming dairy products around the time you take this medicine.

Cip-TZ Tablet interacts with the following diseases:

• Myasthenia Gravis: This is a condition that causes muscle weakness. The ciprofloxacin in Cip-TZ Tablet can worsen symptoms in these patients.
• Liver Disease: Patients with liver disease should use this medicine cautiously as it can affect the metabolism of tinidazole, potentially leading to increased levels of the medicine.
• Seizure disorders: The presence of ciprofloxacin can lead to increased seizure activity. If you have a history of seizures, use Cip-TZ Tablet with caution.

The daily dose of Cip-TZ Tablet should be as recommended by your doctor. This dose can vary based on the severity of your condition and how you respond to the medicine. It's crucial to follow the dosage set by your doctor and not exceed it without a consultation.

If an excess amount of Cip-TZ Tablet is taken, common symptoms might include nausea, dizziness, and headaches. However, if you suspect an overdose or if these symptoms persist, inform your doctor right away.

In case you miss a dose of Cip-TZ Tablet, take it as soon as you recall. But, if it's nearing the time for your next dose, skip the one you missed and carry on with your usual schedule. Remember not to increase your dosage without consulting with your doctor.
