Cifran Ct Tablet 10

The Cifran CT Tablet may interact with the following drugs, including

• Oral antidiabetic drugs such as glipizide: Sometimes severe hypoglycemia has been reported when Cifran CT Tablet and oral antidiabetic agents, mainly sulfonylureas (for example, glyburide, glimepiride)
• Anticonvulsants such as Phenytoin: Use with caution. Altered serum levels of phenytoin (increased and decreased) have been reported.
• Anticoagulant drugs such as Heparin or Warfarin: Use with caution. An increase in anticoagulant effect has been reported.
• Bronchodilators such as Theophylline: Concurrent administration of the Cifran CT Tablet with theophylline may increase the risk of a patient developing central nervous system (CNS) or other adverse reactions.
• Skeletal muscle relaxants such as Tizanidine: Concomitant administration of tizanidine and Cifran CT Tablet is contraindicated due to the possibility of hypotensive and sedative effects of tizanidine
• Immunosuppressive agents such as Cyclosporine: Monitor renal function (particularly serum creatinine) when the Cifran CT Tablet is co-administered with cyclosporine.

While using this medication, refrain from consuming dairy products like milk or yoghurt and beverages containing added calcium, as they can interfere with its absorption. Additionally, avoid alcohol, including wine, beer, or spirits, both during the treatment and for three days after discontinuing the medicine. Remember to stay well-hydrated by drinking an adequate amount of fluids during your course of this medication.

The Cifran CT Tablet can interact with conditions/diseases, including

• Epilepsy or other neurological conditions: Cifran CT Tablet may worsen the seizures
• Tendon problems: Cifran CT Tablet may worsen the condition further 
• Diabetes: Blood glucose level may increase while taking Cifran CT Tablet
• Myasthenia gravis: Avoid Cifran CT Tablet in Myasthenia gravis as it is not recommended.

Typically, Cifran CT Tablet is taken as prescribed. Your doctor will decide the dosage and timing based on age, weight, and overall health. 

If an acute overdose occurs, there have been reports of reversible kidney toxicity in some instances. To address this, you can empty the stomach either by inducing vomiting or through gastric lavage.

If you miss a dose of Cifran CT Tablet, take it as soon as you remember. But if your next scheduled dose is approaching, you should ignore the missed dose and resume your usual dosing routine.
