Cansoft-CL Vaginal Suppository are used to treat bacterial vaginosis by clearing harmful bacteria and easing odour, itching, and unusual discharge. They are also used to manage yeast infections like vulvovaginal candidiasis and mixed vaginal infections involving bacteria and fungi, while helping reduce recurrence of frequent vaginal infections.

• Wash your hands thoroughly before handling the suppository.
• Choose a comfortable position, such as lying on your back with your knees bent or standing with one foot on a chair.
• Remove the suppository from the packaging.
• Gently insert the suppository into the vagina using the applicator provided or your finger. Push it as far as it comfortably goes.
• Dispose the applicator or wash it thoroughly for reuse.
• Rewash your hands after insertion.

• Clindamycin, an active ingredient in Cansoft-CL Vaginal Suppository, is an antibiotic belonging to the lincosamide class. It works by inhibiting the growth and reproduction of bacteria. It targets bacteria that can cause vaginal infections, such as bacterial vaginosis (BV). By suppressing these bacteria's growth, Clindamycin helps restore the normal balance of microorganisms in the vagina.
• Clotrimazole, another active ingredient in Cansoft-CL Vaginal Suppository, is an antifungal medication that belongs to the azole class. It disrupts the synthesis of ergosterol, an essential component of the fungal cell membrane. By interfering with ergosterol production, Clotrimazole weakens the fungal cell wall, leading to the death of the fungus. Clotrimazole is effective against Candida species of fungi responsible for causing vulvovaginal candidiasis (VVC) or yeast infections.

• Consider incorporating probiotic-rich foods into your diet or taking probiotic supplements. Probiotics, such as lactobacilli, can help maintain a healthy balance of vaginal flora.
• Excessive sugar consumption can promote the growth of yeast. Limiting the intake of sugary foods and beverages may help prevent yeast infections.
• Use barrier methods, such as condoms, to reduce the risk of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) that can contribute to vaginal infections.
