Bromostar T Eye Drops 5ml are used for the following:

• Reducing elevated pressure inside the eye

• Managing open-angle glaucoma

• Treating ocular hypertension

• Lowering intraocular pressure when single medicines fail

• Controlling eye pressure through dual-action mechanism

• Preventing optic nerve damage from high eye pressure

Follow these instructions while using Bromostar T Eye Drops 5ml:

• Wash your hands thoroughly before instiling the eye drops.

• Shake the bottle well before each use.

• Tilt your head back slightly and pull down your lower eyelid.

• Hold the bottle above your eye and place one drop in the affected eye(s).

• Close your eyes for 1-2 minutes after instillation.

• Avoid touching the dropper tip to prevent contamination.

• Wait at least 5 minutes between using other eye medicines.

• Remove contact lenses before instilling the drops.

Bromostar T Eye Drops 5ml are instiled topically.

Bromostar T Eye Drops 5ml contain two active ingredients and a preservative:

• Brimonidine (0.2%): This component is an alpha-2 adrenergic agonist that works in two ways to lower eye pressure. It decreases the production of aqueous humour (the clear fluid in your eye) and increases the drainage of this fluid through the uveoscleral pathway (a secondary drainage route in your eye).

• Timolol (0.5%): As a non-selective beta-blocker, timolol reduces the production of aqueous humour in your eye. It blocks certain receptors in the eye tissue that are responsible for fluid production, thereby lowering intraocular pressure.

• Benzalkonium Chloride (0.02%): This ingredient serves as a preservative to prevent microbial contamination of the eye drops. It helps maintain the sterility of the solution throughout its shelf life.

• Store Bromostar T Eye Drops 5ml below 30°C.

• Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use.

• Protect from freezing and excessive heat.

• Store away from direct sunlight.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the bottle.

• Avoid allowing the dropper tip to touch any surface to prevent contamination.

• Manage your screen time: If you have glaucoma or high eye pressure, take regular breaks from digital devices. The 20-20-20 rule helps—every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds to reduce eye strain.
