Brimocom Eye Drops are used to lower raised pressure inside the eye (intraocular pressure) in adults with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. Keeping eye pressure controlled helps protect the optic nerve and prevent vision loss.
It is a combination of two medicines that reduce intraocular pressure through different mechanisms. Use the drops as prescribed and close the eye gently, pressing on the inner corner for about one minute after instilling, to reduce the amount absorbed into the body.
Attending all eye clinic appointments for regular eye pressure checks is an important part of glaucoma management. Tell your doctor if vision changes or symptoms worsen.
Before using this medicine, tell your doctor about any breathing problems (such as asthma), heart conditions, low blood pressure, kidney problems, or depression, as the components can affect these. Remove contact lenses before applying and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting. Speak to your doctor before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
