CompositionBisoheart-AM 5 Tablet is used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults, particularly when a single medicine does not control it adequately alone. It contains bisoprolol and amlodipine, a beta-blocker and a calcium channel blocker, which relax blood vessels and reduce the heart's workload, lowering the risk of heart attack and stroke by lowering blood pressure.
Take this tablet by mouth, with or without food, as prescribed, swallowing it whole. Continue taking it regularly, even if you feel well; do not stop suddenly, as this can cause chest pain or worsen angina. Your doctor will advise on reducing the dose gradually if needed.
Restricting salt intake, following a diet low in saturated fat, staying active, maintaining a healthy weight and limiting alcohol all help support blood pressure control.
Tell your doctor if you have asthma, a slow heartbeat, heart failure, or kidney or liver problems before starting this medicine. Report a very slow heartbeat, dizziness, swelling of the ankles or feet, or worsening breathlessness. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
