Biosia 1000 Capsule is used for the following:

• Reducing severely high triglyceride levels in the blood

• Lowering the risk of heart attack in high-risk patients

• Preventing stroke in patients with cardiovascular disease

• Managing heart health in people with diabetes

• Supporting overall cardiovascular health

• Reducing inflammation in blood vessels

• Improving lipid profile in adults with hypertriglyceridaemia

• Decreasing the risk of major cardiac events

Follow these instructions while taking Biosia 1000 Capsule:

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water.

• Take this medicine with food for better absorption.

• Do not break, crush, dissolve, or chew the capsule.

• Try to take this medicine at the same time each day.

• Continue taking this medicine regularly as advised by your doctor.

• Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly without consulting your doctor.

Biosia 1000 Capsule is taken orally.

Biosia 1000 Capsule contains Icosapent ethyl (1000 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Triglyceride reduction: Icosapent ethyl decreases triglyceride synthesis in the liver and improves the clearance of triglyceride-rich lipoproteins from your bloodstream.

• Atherosclerosis prevention: It reduces the accumulation of LDL cholesterol (often called "bad cholesterol") in the artery walls, which helps slow down the progression of fat and cholesterol buildup in the artery walls.

• Anti-inflammatory effects: Icosapent ethyl exerts anti-inflammatory properties that may contribute to its cardioprotective benefits, helping to reduce inflammation in blood vessels.

• Store Biosia 1000 Capsule in its original packaging at room temperature (below 30°C).

• Keep away from direct light and moisture.

• Store in a dry place with the container tightly closed.

• Keep out of reach and sight of children.

• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Reduce intake of foods high in saturated fats (like butter, fatty meats, and full-fat dairy) to help manage high triglyceride levels, which are blood fats that Biosia 1000 Capsule helps to lower.

• Include omega-3-rich foods in your diet, such as flaxseeds, walnuts, and certain vegetables, as these complement the action of icosapent ethyl in reducing cardiovascular risks.
