Icos 1g Capsule 4

Icos 1g Capsule 2 may interact with the following medicines:

• Anticoagulants and antiplatelet medicines (e.g., warfarin, aspirin, clopidogrel): This medicine has a mild blood-thinning (antiplatelet) effect. When taken together with blood thinners, it may slightly increase the risk of bleeding. Your doctor may monitor you for signs of bleeding, such as easy bruising, nosebleeds, or bleeding gums, and may check blood tests such as INR if required.
• Other omega-3 supplements (e.g., fish oil capsules, EPA supplements): Taking additional omega-3 products along with Icos 1g Capsule 2 is generally unnecessary and may increase the risk of side effects such as stomach upset, diarrhoea, or fishy aftertaste. Avoid overlapping supplements unless advised by your doctor.

Icos 1g Capsule 2 should be used with caution if you have:

• Bleeding disorders (e.g., haemophilia, thrombocytopenia): This medicine may increase the risk of bleeding. Inform your doctor if you have a bleeding disorder or notice unusual bruising or bleeding.
• Diabetes: This medicine is generally safe in people with diabetes, but regular monitoring of blood sugar and lipid levels is advised as part of routine care.
• History of gout: Icos 1g Capsule 2 has been associated with an increased risk of gout attacks in some patients. Inform your doctor if you have a history of gout or develop sudden joint pain and swelling.
• History of atrial fibrillation or atrial flutter: This medicine may increase the risk of atrial fibrillation or atrial flutter, particularly in patients who already have a history of these heart rhythm disorders. Inform your doctor if you have previously experienced irregular heartbeat, palpitations, or episodes of atrial fibrillation or atrial flutter. Your doctor may monitor your heart rhythm during treatment.

Take Icos 1g Capsule 2 exactly as prescribed by your doctor. The doctor will decide the appropriate dose based on your triglyceride levels, cardiovascular risk, overall health, and response to treatment. Follow your doctor’s instructions carefully, even if your triglyceride levels improve or you feel well. Do not adjust your dose on your own.

Taking more than the prescribed dose of Icos 1g Capsule 2 may increase the risk of side effects such as diarrhoea, joint pain, or increased bleeding tendency. If you suspect an overdose, seek immediate medical attention.

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue your regular schedule. Do not double up to make up for a missed dose.
