Azithral Xl 200 Liquid 30ml

Azithral-XL Liquid 200 Suspension can interact with medications, including:

• Anticoagulants or blood thinners such as warfarin. The use of warfarin with this medication may increase coagulation times. Monitoring of prothrombin time is required. 
• Medications for HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) infection, such as nelfinavir. It can increase the blood concentration of this suspension. Also, close monitoring for known adverse reactions of azithromycin, such as liver enzyme abnormalities and hearing impairment, may be required.
• Antacids such as aluminium hydroxide can decrease the effectiveness of this medicine.

Azithral-XL Liquid 200 Suspension can interact with diseases, including:

• Liver impairment: This suspension can cause severe hepatotoxicity.
• Myasthenia gravis (a neuromuscular disease): This suspension may exacerbate muscle weakness in persons with myasthenia gravis.
• Heart rhythm disorder (irregular heartbeats): This suspension can increase the risk of irregular heartbeats (QT interval), leading to serious heart problems.
• Colitis (inflammation of the intestine): This suspension may exacerbate diarrhoea.

Give Azithral-XL Liquid 200 Suspension to your child as directed by a doctor. The dosage depends on the child’s age and individual factors, such as the severity of the condition and response to treatment. It is important to follow the prescribed dosage and not exceed it without consulting your doctor. 

If you give your child excessive Azithral-XL Liquid 200 Suspension by accident, your child may experience nausea, diarrhoea, and vomiting. In such cases, it is essential to take immediate medical attention from your doctor or nearby hospital. 

If you forgot to give Azithral-XL Liquid 200 Suspension to your child, give it as soon as you remember. If the time for the next dosage is close, it is recommended to skip the missed one and resume your regular dosage pattern. Never increase your dosage without consulting your doctor.
