Azeldip 8 Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Managing stage I and stage II hypertension

• Lowering elevated blood pressure

• Reducing risks of cardiovascular events

• Prevention of strokes related to high blood pressure

• Prevention of heart attacks due to hypertension

• Improving blood flow to heart muscles

• Reducing arterial resistance

• Relaxing blood vessel walls

Follow these instructions while taking Azeldip 8 Tablet 10:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

• Take this medicine at the same time each day.

• Continue taking this medicine regularly, even if you feel well.

• Take this medicine exactly as advised by your doctor.

• Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor.

Azeldip 8 Tablet 10 contains azelnidipine (8 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Calcium Channel Blockade: Azelnidipine prevents calcium ions from entering the smooth muscle cells of your blood vessels and heart. This action is crucial because calcium is needed for muscle contraction.
