Augulab 625 Tablet is used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections, including infections of the respiratory tract, ears, sinuses, urinary tract, skin and soft tissues, and bones and joints, when caused by susceptible bacteria. It contains amoxicillin, a penicillin antibiotic, combined with clavulanic acid, which helps protect the antibiotic from breakdown by certain bacterial enzymes.
Take this medicine with food, exactly as prescribed by your doctor, to help reduce stomach upset. Take it as prescribed and complete the full course, even if you start feeling better, to help prevent the infection from returning and reduce the risk of antibiotic resistance.
During treatment, get adequate rest, stay well hydrated, and avoid taking leftover or shared antibiotics from a previous illness. Good hand hygiene can also help prevent spreading the infection to others while you recover.
Before starting this medicine, tell your doctor if you have an allergy to penicillin or cephalosporin antibiotics, a history of liver problems linked to amoxicillin-clavulanic acid, or kidney disease. Contact your doctor immediately if you develop a severe skin rash, yellowing of the skin or eyes, or persistent or severe loose motions, including after completing treatment.
