Atorlip Gold 20 Capsule 10 is used for:

• Decreasing the risk of heart attacks in individuals with a recent history

• Lowering the chance of strokes or transient ischaemic attacks in those who have previously experienced them

• Controlling high cholesterol levels in the body

• Reducing total cholesterol and triglycerides while elevating good cholesterol levels

• Slowing down the progression of coronary atherosclerosis, a condition that narrows the arteries

• Managing established peripheral arterial disease, a circulatory problem wherein narrowed arteries reduce blood flow to your limbs.

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water. Do not chew or crush it.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

• Try to take your daily dose at the same fixed time each day.

• Avoid changing your dosage or stopping the medication without consulting your doctor.

Atorlip Gold 20 Capsule 10 combines three active ingredients:

• Aspirin (75 mg): This component acts by inhibiting platelet cyclo-oxygenase 1 in your body. This blocks thromboxane A2 synthesis, leading to reduced platelet aggregation, thus preventing clot formation.

• Atorvastatin (20 mg): This ingredient works by competitively inhibiting HMG-CoA reductase, an enzyme critical for cholesterol biosynthesis in your body. The inhibition leads to increased LDL clearance, reducing LDL cholesterol levels and slowing the progression of coronary atherosclerosis.

• Clopidogrel (75 mg): Clopidogrel is a prodrug that inhibits ADP-mediated platelet aggregation by irreversibly binding to P2Y12 receptors on platelets in your blood. This action provides additional protection against thromboembolic events when combined with aspirin.

• Store Atorlip Gold 20 Capsule 10 in a cool, dry place, ideally at a temperature between 15 to 30°C.
