Lipikind-Plus 20 Capsule is used to help prevent heart attack and stroke in adults at high cardiovascular risk. It combines atorvastatin 20 mg with aspirin 75 mg and clopidogrel 75 mg to lower LDL cholesterol and reduce platelet-related blood-clot formation.
Atorvastatin reduces cholesterol production in the liver, while aspirin and clopidogrel reduce platelet clumping. Swallow the capsule whole as prescribed. Do not stop it without medical advice, because stopping antiplatelet treatment can increase the risk of clot-related complications.
A heart-healthy diet low in saturated fat, combined with regular exercise, not smoking, and limiting alcohol, supports the medicine's effect on cholesterol and clotting. Keeping blood pressure and blood sugar under control further reduces cardiovascular risk.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have liver disease, a bleeding disorder, a stomach ulcer, or are taking other medicines, including NSAIDs or anticoagulants. Contact your doctor promptly if you notice unusual bruising, bleeding, or unexplained muscle pain or weakness. It is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
