Asthakind Tablet is used to relieve a productive cough and clear mucus in respiratory conditions.

• Productive Cough and Bronchitis: Relieves a cough with mucus and helps manage acute and chronic bronchitis.
• Obstructive Airway Conditions: Helps ease breathing in conditions such as asthma and COPD by loosening mucus and widening the airways.

• Swallow the tablet whole with water.

Asthakind Tablet is taken orally.

The Asthakind Tablet contains three active ingredients that work together to manage respiratory conditions:

• Bromhexine (4 mg): This is a mucolytic agent that works by breaking down mucopolysaccharides in mucus, reducing its stickiness and making it thinner. It helps in easier expulsion of mucus when coughing and increases serous secretion production to transport mucus more effectively.

• Guaifenesin (100 mg): This component acts as an expectorant which stimulates receptors in the respiratory tract leading to increased hydration and volume of secretions. It promotes more effective clearance of accumulated secretions through coughing but has no direct effect on mucus viscosity.

• Terbutaline (2.5 mg): Terbutaline is a bronchodilator that works by stimulating β2adrenergic receptors on airway smooth muscle cells. Activation of these receptors leads to relaxation of bronchial smooth muscles, opening up the airways and making breathing easier.

• Keep Asthakind Tablet in a dry place where the temperature stays between 15 and 30°C.

• Avoid exposure to direct light and moisture.

• Ensure the tablet storage container is tightly closed.
