Ascodex LS Expectorant is used to relieve chest congestion, cough, and common cold symptoms. It works by thinning and loosening thick mucus in the airways, making it much easier to cough out phlegm. This medication improves airway clearance and eases breathing discomfort during upper respiratory tract infections.

Ascodex LS Syrup contains three active ingredients:

• Ambroxol (30 mg): This is a mucolytic agent that acts by breaking down substances in the respiratory tract, making the mucus thinner and less sticky. This action helps in clearing mucus through coughing and ciliary action. Ambroxol also possesses anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
