Take it as prescribed, at the same time each day. Continue taking it even if you feel well, and do not stop it without medical advice.
Reducing salt in your diet, staying physically active, maintaining a healthy weight, and limiting alcohol can support blood pressure control alongside this medicine.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor about any liver, kidney, or heart problems, other medicines you take, and whether you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Mild swelling of the ankles, flushing, or headache can occur, especially at first, and usually settles. Tell your doctor if ankle swelling becomes troublesome.
