Acivir Cream 10gm

Acivir Cream is used to treat skin infections caused by the Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV), specifically for painful, irritating conditions such as cold sores (blisters on the lips and face) and genital herpes. Using this cream will help speed healing of these sores and blisters and reduce the duration of symptoms such as pain, tingling, and burning.

The following directions of use for Acivir cream are based on the product label and are supported by authentic research papers:

• Both before and after using the cream, wash your hands properly.
• Clean and dry the affected area.
• Put a thin layer of the cream on the infected area, ensuring it covers the entire lesion.
• Gently rub the cream onto the skin until completely absorbed.
• Please wash your hands after applying it unless your hands are in the affected area.
• Use the cream as your doctor directs, usually five times daily for 5 to 10 days, depending on the treated condition.

The route of administration for Acivir cream is topical, which means it is applied directly to the skin. 

• Acivir Cream contains Acyclovir which belongs to a class of medications known as antivirals. Acyclovir is a medicine that fights viruses. It stops the viruses from copying their DNA, which is how they multiply. When the medicine gets inside infected cells, it becomes active and blocks the enzyme the viruses need to reproduce. It stops the viruses from multiplying and reduces symptoms like cold sores, genital herpes, chickenpox, and shingles. 

• Store Acivir cream at room temperature (15-25ºC).
• Please protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep Acivir cream away from children.
• Do not use Acivir cream after the expiry date has passed.

• Choose whole grains and lean proteins.
• Use condoms to engage in safe sex; doing so helps to lessen contact with the bodily fluids of an infected person.
• Avoid scratching the skin because doing so could cause the illness to spread to other body regions.
• Never exchange personal things like razor blades or toothbrushes that may have your bodily fluids or blood on them.
• Get checked for other sexually transmitted diseases.
