Zymox CV 625 Tablet 6 is used to treat respiratory infections like pneumonia, bronchitis, and sinusitis, as well as ear, urinary tract, skin, and dental infections. It also helps manage bone and joint infections.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

• Avoid crushing or chewing the tablet.

• Make sure to take this medicine at the start of a meal to reduce possible stomach issues.

• Continue taking the medicine for the full course prescribed, even if you feel better after a few days. Stopping early might allow bacteria to keep growing.

Zymox CV-625 Tablet is taken orally.

Zymox CV-625 Tablet consists of the following two components:

• Amoxicillin (500 mg): This semisynthetic penicillin-type antibiotic works by interrupting the synthesis of bacterial cell walls. It inactivates penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs) located within the bacterial cell wall, interfering with the cross-linking of peptidoglycan chains that are necessary for bacterial cell wall strength and rigidity. As a result, the cell wall becomes weakened and ruptures due to osmotic pressure, leading to bacterial cell death.

• Clavulanic Acid (125 mg): Clavulanic acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor. Some bacteria produce enzymes called beta-lactamases that can destroy amoxicillin and other penicillin-type antibiotics, making them ineffective. Clavulanic acid stops these beta-lactamases from breaking down amoxicillin. This action extends the antibiotic spectrum of amoxicillin to include many bacteria that would otherwise be resistant due to beta-lactamase production.

• Keep Zymox CV-625 Tablet in a tightly sealed container, away from light and moisture.

• Ideal storage temperature should not exceed 25°C.

• Store your medicine in a place where children cannot access it.

• Always check the expiry date and do not use the medicine if it has expired.

• If you're taking Zymox CV-625 Tablet for urinary tract infections, drink plenty of fluids to help flush out bacteria.

• For respiratory tract infections, avoid exposure to smoke and pollutants that can aggravate the condition.
