Here's how you should use Zenflox Eye/Ear Drops:

• If you're using it for an ear infection, lie down with your affected ear facing upwards for 5 minutes after using it to allow the drops to penetrate into your ear canal.

• For eye infections, remove your contact lenses before using the drops.

Zenflox Eye/Ear Drops is a combination medicine containing two active ingredients:

• Ofloxacin (0.3%): As a fluoroquinolone antibiotic, ofloxacin works by inhibiting an enzyme in bacteria known as DNA gyrase. This enzyme is crucial for bacterial replication and transcription. By disrupting its function, ofloxacin limits the ability of bacterial cells to divide and multiply, leading to their eventual death.

• Benzalkonium Chloride (0.02%): This ingredient acts as a preservative but also has antimicrobial properties. It disrupts the cell membranes of bacteria causing leakage of cellular contents which leads to cell death. Also, it prevents the growth of microorganisms in the solution which helps to maintain the sterility of the product throughout its shelf life.

• Store Zenflox Eye/Ear Drops at a temperature below 30°C.

• Keep the bottle away from excess light or heat.

• Do not freeze the drops.

• Keep this medicine out of sight and reach of children.
