Yamini LS Tablet is used for oral contraception and to help manage menstrual cycle irregularities and related symptoms.

Yamini LS Tablet consists of two active components:

• Drospirenone (3 mg): This synthetic progestin imitates the effects of progesterone in your body. Among other things, it inhibits the release of gonadotropins from your pituitary gland, which in turn prevents ovulation - the process where an egg is released from your ovaries.

• Ethinyl Estradiol (0.02 mg): This synthetic estrogen mimics the effects of natural estrogen in your body. Along with drospirenone, it thickens cervical mucus making it more difficult for sperm to reach an egg, and alters the lining of the uterus (endometrium), making it less receptive to implantation by a fertilised egg.

Together, these two ingredients work synergistically to prevent pregnancy.

• Store it in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Ensure it's kept out of reach of children.
