CompositionDronis 20 Tablet is a combined oral contraceptive used to prevent pregnancy. It also helps regulate irregular periods and can ease symptoms of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) such as acne and excess hair growth.
It contains drospirenone, a progestogen, and ethinylestradiol, an oestrogen. Together they prevent the release of an egg.
Take one tablet at the same time each day, following the schedule given. It does not protect against sexually transmitted infections, so barrier protection is still needed.
Tell your doctor about any history of blood clots, heart disease, migraine with aura or hormone-related cancer before use. It is not suitable if you smoke and are over 35. Seek urgent advice for leg or chest pain, severe headache or vision changes.
