Xidorin 2.5 Tablet is used to manage symptomatic orthostatic hypotension, a fall in blood pressure on standing that can cause dizziness, light-headedness or fainting. It contains midodrine, an alpha-adrenergic agonist.
It tightens blood vessels, which raises blood pressure and helps reduce symptoms when you stand up.
Take it exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not take an extra dose or change the timing without medical advice, because the medicine can raise blood pressure while you are lying down.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor about any heart, kidney, thyroid or urinary problems and all other medicines you take. Your doctor may monitor your blood pressure while standing and lying down.
