Take this tablet during the day, as your doctor prescribes, generally avoiding doses close to bedtime, since lying flat with raised blood pressure can be uncomfortable and raise blood pressure while lying down.
Do not take this medicine close to bedtime, and avoid lying flat for several hours after a dose; sleeping with your head and upper body raised can help reduce supine hypertension. Tell your doctor if you have heart disease, urinary retention, or thyroid problems.
