• Anticoagulants: This medicine can increased risk of bleeding in patients taking warfarin, a blood-thinning medication.
• Immunosuppressants: The metabolism of cyclosporine, a medicine used to prevent organ rejection after transplantation, can be inhibited by this medicine. This could result in increased levels of cyclosporine in your body.
• Acid-dependent medications: Medicines like atazanavir (used for HIV), digoxin (for heart conditions), iron salts (for anaemia), ketoconazole (an antifungal), and mycophenolate mofetil (an immunosuppressant) require an acidic pH for optimal absorption. Veloz-20 Tablet reduces stomach acid, possibly affecting the absorption and effectiveness of these medicines.

• Liver disease: In patients with severe liver impairment, caution should be exercised when using Veloz-20 Tablet as it could potentially worsen their condition.
• Osteoporosis: Long-term use of proton pump inhibitors like this medicine may increase the risk of fractures in your hip, wrist or spine, especially if you have osteoporosis or are at risk of developing it.
• Hypomagnesemia: Rarely, prolonged treatment with Veloz-20 Tablet could lead to low magnesium levels in your blood. If you have a condition that already causes low magnesium levels, such as hypomagnesemia, this could potentially worsen your condition.
