Tolvaptan (15 Mg)

Vaptan Tablet 10 is used to manage low sodium levels (hyponatraemia). It is a single-ingredient vasopressin V2-receptor antagonist containing tolvaptan.
This medicine helps correct low blood sodium levels and ease related symptoms. It also manages hyponatraemia caused by excess antidiuretic hormone release. It also helps correct sodium imbalances linked to these conditions. It may also be used to slow cyst growth in a genetic kidney condition.
Reducing salt and following an activity plan advised by your doctor can support heart and blood pressure management alongside this medicine.
Before starting, tell your doctor about your medical conditions and allergies. Tell the doctor about all other medicines, supplements or herbal products you take. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding. Attend any monitoring appointments advised by your doctor. Report persistent or serious side effects to your doctor.
