Phoscut 400 Tablet is used to lower high phosphate levels in the blood in people with chronic kidney disease, especially those on dialysis, helping protect the bones and blood vessels.
It contains sevelamer, a phosphate binder. It works by binding phosphate from food in the gut so less is absorbed.
Take it with meals as prescribed, swallowing the tablet whole, so it can bind the phosphate in food.
Tell your doctor about any swallowing or bowel problems before use. Report severe constipation, or ongoing stomach pain.
