Udapa Gold 2 Tablet is used to manage type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults, helping to control blood sugar levels. It also helps lower the risk of serious long-term complications of diabetes, including kidney damage, nerve problems, and cardiovascular issues.
It contains dapagliflozin 10 mg, glimepiride 2 mg and metformin 500 mg. These medicines lower blood sugar by increasing urinary glucose removal, increasing insulin release and improving insulin sensitivity.
Controlled carbohydrate intake, regular physical activity, maintaining a healthy weight, and monitoring your blood sugar levels as advised by your doctor are important parts of managing type 2 diabetes alongside this medicine.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have kidney or liver problems, a history of urinary tract or genital infections, or are taking other medicines. Tell your doctor if you notice symptoms of a genital infection, such as itching or discharge, or signs of low blood sugar such as shakiness or sweating. It is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
