CompositionUdapa Gold 1 Forte Tablet is used to manage high blood sugar levels in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus, when diet, exercise and other diabetes medicines alone are not enough. It combines three medicines that lower blood sugar through different actions in the body.
It contains dapagliflozin, glimepiride and metformin. Take it in the morning, with or without food, swallowing the tablet whole without crushing, breaking or chewing it. Continue taking it regularly as advised, as stopping suddenly can raise your blood sugar levels.
Following a controlled-carbohydrate diet, eating meals at regular times, staying physically active and monitoring your blood sugar as advised can help this medicine work more effectively. Staying well hydrated is particularly important.
Tell your doctor if you have kidney or liver problems, or a history of urinary tract or genital infections. Tell your doctor promptly about symptoms of low blood sugar such as sweating, shakiness or confusion, or a genital infection such as itching or discharge. Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
