• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Avoid breaking, crushing, or chewing it.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

Trivedon Mr Tablet contains Trimetazidine (35 mg), which impacts your body in the following ways:

• Inhibits Long-chain 3-Ketoacyl-CoA Thiolase: Trimetazidine works by blocking an enzyme known as long-chain 3-ketoacyl-CoA thiolase in your body. This enzyme is involved in the beta-oxidation process of fatty acids.

• Shifting Energy Substrate Preference: By blocking long-chain 3-ketoacyl-CoA thiolase, trimetazidine effectively shifts the energy substrate preference from fatty acid oxidation to glucose oxidation. This helps maintain energy balance in your heart muscle cells during periods of reduced blood flow, known as ischemia.

• Store Trivedon Mr Tablet in a cool, dry place, ideally below 30°C.
