Trenaxa 500 Tablet is used to prevent or reduce excessive bleeding. It helps maintain stable clot formation at the site of an injury or surgical wound, and is commonly prescribed for heavy menstrual periods, dysfunctional uterine bleeding and persistent nosebleeds.
It contains tranexamic acid, an antifibrinolytic medicine. It is also used in hospital settings to reduce blood loss during or after surgery. Take it as prescribed, usually for only a few days during a period of heavy bleeding.
Eating iron-rich foods, such as leafy greens and lentils, and getting adequate rest can help your body recover, particularly if heavy bleeding has left you feeling tired or low in energy.
Tell your doctor if you have a history of blood clots in the legs or lungs before starting this medicine. Report any unusual change in your vision while taking this tablet to your doctor immediately.
