Maintain adequate fluid intake and remember that antibiotics do not treat viral colds or influenza.
Tell your doctor about severe penicillin or cephalosporin allergy, kidney disease, or previous antibiotic-associated colitis. Seek urgent help for severe allergy or persistent watery or bloody diarrhoea.
