Tidomet Plus Tablet is used to treat Parkinson's disease and parkinsonism, easing symptoms such as muscle stiffness, tremor and slowed or frozen movement, and helping you move more freely.
It contains levodopa, which the brain converts into dopamine to replace what is missing, and carbidopa, which helps more of the levodopa reach the brain and reduces nausea.
Take it at the same times each day as prescribed, and do not stop it suddenly. Your doctor will adjust the dose carefully.
Rise slowly, as it can cause dizziness on standing. Report unusual involuntary movements, hallucinations, or sudden changes in mood or behaviour, including strong urges such as gambling.
