• Boil water
• Let it cool.
• Add one teaspoonful of powder in 200 ml (1 glass) of cooled water and stir.
• Depending upon age and severity of dehydration infants and children, one to two litres (5-10 glasses) over a period of 24 hours. 
• Adults two to four litres (10-20 glasses) over 24 hours. 
• Continue until diarrhoea stops/dehydration is corrected.
