CompositionTelista Trio CL 6.25 Tablet is a combination medicine used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults. It is prescribed when a single blood pressure medicine or a dual combination is not sufficient to achieve adequate blood pressure control, helping to lower the risk of stroke, heart attack, and kidney damage.
It contains telmisartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB); cilnidipine, a calcium channel blocker; and chlorthalidone, a diuretic. Take it with or without food as prescribed, swallow whole with water, and take it at the same time every day. Continue taking it regularly even when you feel completely fine, as high blood pressure usually has no symptoms.
Adopting healthy daily habits supports optimal blood pressure control. This includes eating a heart-healthy diet with reduced salt and saturated fats, engaging in routine physical activity, avoiding tobacco, and maintaining a healthy body weight.
Tell your doctor about any pre-existing kidney, liver, or heart conditions, or if you have electrolyte imbalances. This medicine is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Your doctor may monitor your kidney function and blood mineral levels periodically while on this treatment.
