Contraindications

• Chlorthalidone + Cilnidipine + Telmisartan is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of its components.

• It should not be used by patients with anuria (a condition where the body is unable to produce urine), or severe liver problems.

Other Medications to Avoid

• This medicine may interact with other antihypertensive medications (e.g., captopril, enalapril, aliskiren), non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicines (e.g., aspirin, ibuprofen), water pills (e.g., amiloride, spironolactone), heart-related medicines (e.g., quinidine, digoxin) and antibiotics (e.g., erythromycin, rifampicin).

Overdose and Missed Dose

• Taking more than the prescribed dose of Chlorthalidone + Cilnidipine + Telmisartan may cause severe dizziness, fainting, low blood pressure, dehydration, electrolyte imbalance, or difficulty breathing. If you suspect an overdose, seek immediate medical attention.
• If you miss a dose of Chlorthalidone + Cilnidipine + Telmisartan, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.

Management of Side Effects

Most side effects are temporary and generally harmless and resolve when discontinuing this medicine. However, if you experience any severe side effects or worsening of any of the symptoms, please consult your doctor.

• To manage increased urination, plan your dosing time in such a way that frequent urination does not disturb your sleep.

Caution in Other Conditions

• Caution should be exercised in patients with diabetes, gout, kidney stones and Addison’s disease (a condition in which the adrenal gland does not produce sufficient steroids) as dose adjustments may be needed.

Special Dietary and Lifestyle Recommendations

• Incorporate foods rich in potassium in your diet, as Chlorthalidone can cause low potassium levels.

• Limit the intake of sodium in your diet, as it can raise your blood pressure.

• Avoid grapefruit products.
