Cildip 3D Tablet is used for the following:

• Managing hypertension (high blood pressure)

• Reducing the risk of heart attack

• Lowering the chance of stroke

• Preventing kidney problems related to high blood pressure

Here's how you should take Cildip 3D Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

• It's advisable to take it at the same time every day for effective blood pressure control.

• Do not exceed the dose recommended by your doctor. If you have any doubts, consult your doctor.

Cildip 3D Tablet is taken orally.

Cildip 3D Tablet comprises three active ingredients:

• Cilnidipine (10 mg): This is a calcium channel blocker. It prevents calcium from entering the smooth muscle cells in the blood vessel walls, leading to relaxation and widening of the vessels. This action eases the heart's pumping effort, thus reducing blood pressure. Additionally, cilnidipine inhibits stress on the cardiovascular system by reducing excessive sympathetic activation.

• Telmisartan (40 mg): This angiotensin II receptor blocker selectively prevents the binding of angiotensin II, a substance that narrows blood vessels, to its receptors. This action facilitates the relaxation and widening of the vessels, which lowers blood pressure. Telmisartan also decreases water and salt retention by reducing aldosterone secretion.

• Chlorthalidone (6.25 mg): As a diuretic, chlorthalidone works in the kidney. It increases the excretion of water and salt from your body, reducing blood volume and consequently lowering blood pressure.

• Keep your Cildip 3D Tablet in its original packaging until you need to take it.

• Store at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.

• Keep the medicine away from direct light, excess heat, and moisture.

• Ensure the medication is out of reach of children.

• Always check the expiry date before taking the tablet.

• Since Cildip 3D Tablet is used to manage hypertension, try to limit your intake of salt. Too much salt can raise your blood pressure further.

• Also, avoid excessive alcohol consumption. Drinking too much alcohol can increase your blood pressure and might reduce the effectiveness of your medicine.
