Telista-D Tablet has the following uses:

• Controlling hypertension, also known as high blood pressure

• Reducing the risk of cardiovascular incidents, which include heart attacks and strokes

Here are the instructions to follow while taking Telista-D Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew it.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

• Try to take this medicine at the same time every day for optimal results.

• Do not take more than the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.

• It's crucial not to stop taking this medicine without speaking to your doctor first.

Telista-D Tablet is taken orally.

Telista-D Tablet works based on the combined action of its two active components:

• Telmisartan (40 mg): Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). It blocks the formation of angiotensin II, a hormone that narrows or constricts your blood vessels. By preventing this action, telmisartan helps relax and widen your blood vessels, easing the flow of blood and reducing blood pressure.

• Indapamide (1.5 mg): As a thiazide-like diuretic, indapamide works on the kidneys. It increases the excretion of water and salt from your body, which in turn reduces blood volume and cardiac output. This effectively lowers your blood pressure.

• Store your Telista-D Tablet at room temperature, ideally below 30 degrees Celsius.

• Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.

• Make sure the medicine is out of reach of children.
