Telista Ch 80 Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Lowering high blood pressure in adults with hypertension
• Helping prevent complications like heart attacks and strokes that can arise from unmanaged hypertension
• Reducing the risk of kidney problems linked to persistent high blood pressure
• Enhancing the effectiveness of lifestyle modifications in managing hypertension when they've proven inadequate alone

• Swallow the whole tablet with a glass of water.
• Avoid breaking, chewing, or crushing it.
• You can take this medicine with or without food.
• Try to take your dose at the same time each day for consistency.
• It's recommended to take this medicine in the morning to prevent frequent urination at night.

Telista Ch 80 Tablet 10 contains:

• Telmisartan (80 mg): An angiotensin II receptor blocker that obstructs the action of angiotensin II, a natural body substance responsible for narrowing blood vessels and raising blood pressure. By inhibiting this substance from attaching to receptors in the blood vessels, telmisartan ensures these vessels remain relaxed and widened, improving blood flow and consequently reducing pressure.
• Chlorthalidone (12.5 mg): This thiazide-like diuretic promotes the excretion of excess water and salt from the body through urine. As a result of decreased fluid in circulation, blood volume decreases, making it easier for the heart to pump blood around the body. This reduces strain on the cardiovascular system and lowers blood pressure. Additionally, chlorthalidone works directly on blood vessels, preventing them from constricting.
