Telmikind-CT 80 Tablet is used for the following:

• Controlling high blood pressure

• Preventing heart attacks and strokes associated with hypertension

• Reducing excess salt and water in the body, beneficial in managing heart failure

• Managing kidney disease by reducing fluid overload

Telmikind-CT 80 Tablet is taken orally.

Telmikind-CT 80 Tablet contains two active ingredients:

• Chlorthalidone (12.5 mg): This ingredient acts as a diuretic by increasing urine production in the body. This process helps eliminate excess salt and water from your body, thereby reducing the fluid load on your cardiovascular system.

• Telmisartan (80 mg): This ingredient belongs to a class of medicines called angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARBs). Its function is to block the action of angiotensin II, a hormone that causes blood vessels to constrict. By preventing this constriction, telmisartan allows blood vessels to relax and widen which improves blood flow and reduces blood pressure.
