Sporidex Cv 375 Tablet 10

Sporidex-Cv 375 Tablet is used to treat various bacterial infections effectively. It combines an antibiotic (Cephalexin) with Clavulanic Acid to manage acute infections of the skin and soft tissues, respiratory tract, urinary tract, and deeper infections affecting bones, joints, and teeth. This tablet provides targeted relief from persistent bacterial problems like cellulitis, osteomyelitis, septic arthritis, and dental abscesses.

1. Swallow it as a whole.

2. Do not chew or crush the tablet.

3. Medicine dose and duration must be prescribed by your Doctor.

4. It can be taken with or without food.

Oral.

Sporidex-CV 375 Tablet has a combined action of Potassium clavulanate (a beta-lactamase inhibitor) and Cephalexin (cephalosporin antibiotic). Cephalexin acts on bacterial cell surfaces and prevents the formation of bacterial protective cell barriers, whereas potassium clavulanate enhances Cephalexin's activity. Their combined action kills bacteria and prevents infection to reappear.

Store in a cool (below 30 degrees Celsius) and dry place away from sunlight.

• Avoid using tobacco.
• Avoid consuming alcohol to prevent side effects.
• Avoid foods that affect the action of antibiotics and are rich in calcium (e.g. grapefruit).
• Eat fibre-rich whole grains, bananas, broccoli, peas, berries, beans, and lentils. These foods can reduce symptoms of diarrhoea.
• Eat foods rich in probiotics such as yoghurt/curd, kefir, sauerkraut, tempeh, kimchi, miso, kombucha, buttermilk, natto, and cheese to produce good bacteria in the gut.

• Sporidex-CV 375 Tablet can be taken either before or after food. The medicine may start to work a little sooner if it is taken before food.
• Inform your doctor immediately if you observe redness and itching in the mouth or vagina (thrush) after taking this medicine.
• Inform your doctor if you find blood in your stools or diarrhoea. But side effects should stop when your medicine course is complete.
