Sporidex Cv 375 Tablet 10

Sporidex CV 375 Tablet PR is used to treat bacterial infections of the chest, throat, sinuses, urinary tract, skin, bones and joints in adults, including some resistant infections.

Uses of Sporidex CV 375 Tablet PR are:

• Respiratory Infections: Treats bacterial infections of the throat, sinuses and lungs.
• Skin and Soft Tissue Infections: Treats infections such as cellulitis and infected wounds.
• Urinary Tract Infections: Treats bacterial infections of the bladder and kidneys.
• Bone and Joint Infections: Helps treat bacterial infections of the bones and joints.

1. Swallow it as a whole.

2. Do not chew or crush the tablet.

3. Medicine dose and duration must be prescribed by your Doctor.

4. It can be taken with or without food.

Oral.

Sporidex-CV 375 Tablet has a combined action of Potassium clavulanate (a beta-lactamase inhibitor) and Cephalexin (cephalosporin antibiotic). Cephalexin acts on bacterial cell surfaces and prevents the formation of bacterial protective cell barriers, whereas potassium clavulanate enhances Cephalexin's activity. Their combined action kills bacteria and prevents infection to reappear.

Store in a cool (below 30 degrees Celsius) and dry place away from sunlight.

• Avoid using tobacco.
• Avoid consuming alcohol to prevent side effects.
• Avoid foods that affect the action of antibiotics and are rich in calcium (e.g. grapefruit).
• Eat fibre-rich whole grains, bananas, broccoli, peas, berries, beans, and lentils. These foods can reduce symptoms of diarrhoea.
• Eat foods rich in probiotics such as yoghurt/curd, kefir, sauerkraut, tempeh, kimchi, miso, kombucha, buttermilk, natto, and cheese to produce good bacteria in the gut.

• Sporidex-CV 375 Tablet can be taken either before or after food. The medicine may start to work a little sooner if it is taken before food.
• Inform your doctor immediately if you observe redness and itching in the mouth or vagina (thrush) after taking this medicine.
• Inform your doctor if you find blood in your stools or diarrhoea. But side effects should stop when your medicine course is complete.
