Sotret Nf 8mg Capsule 10 may interact with the following medicines:

• Vitamin A supplements: Concurrent use may lead to vitamin A toxicity and must be avoided.
• Tetracycline antibiotics such as Doxycycline: Combined use increases the risk of benign intracranial hypertension. Concomitant administration is contraindicated.
• Topical keratolytic or exfoliative anti-acne agents such as salicylic acid: May increase skin irritation and dryness when used together.
• Other Oral retinoids or high-dose vitamin A: Increase the risk of severe adverse effects and should not be used together.

Sotret Nf 8mg Capsule 10 should be used with caution or avoided in patients with:

• Liver disease: Sotret Nf 8mg Capsule 10 may raise liver enzymes and worsen existing liver impairment, therefore careful monitoring or avoidance is required.
• Severe hyperlipidaemia: This medicine can significantly increase cholesterol and triglyceride levels, increasing the risk of metabolic complications.
• Depression or other psychiatric disorders: Sotret Nf 8mg Capsule 10 may exacerbate mood changes or psychiatric symptoms, requiring close mental health monitoring.
• Inflammatory bowel disease: Use may trigger or worsen gastrointestinal inflammation, including severe diarrhoea or abdominal pain.

The daily dose of Sotret Nf 8mg Capsule 10 is individually calculated by your doctor, usually based on body weight and acne severity. Dose adjustments may be made depending on tolerance and laboratory results. Always follow medical advice strictly.

Overdose of Sotret Nf 8mg Capsule 10 may cause symptoms similar to excessive vitamin A intake, such as severe headache, vomiting, dizziness, facial flushing, or irritability. Seek immediate medical attention if overdose is suspected.
