Sompraz IT Capsule is used to manage acid reflux and ulcers.

Uses of Sompraz IT Capsule are:

• GERD and Ulcers: Relieves heartburn, acid reflux, and stomach ulcers.
• Indigestion: Eases indigestion and bloating and helps with functional dyspepsia.
• Digestive Comfort: Improves stomach movement.

• Swallow Sompraz IT Capsule whole, without crushing or chewing.
• If you have difficulty swallowing, you can open the capsule and mix the contents with applesauce before taking it.
• Take this medicine at the same time(s) every day as directed by your doctor.

Sompraz IT Capsule is taken orally, which means it is swallowed. It should not be taken through any other route.

Sompraz IT Capsule contains two active ingredients that work together to manage stomach and oesophagus problems:

• Esomeprazole: Esomeprazole reduces the production of stomach acid. It inhibits the activity of a specific enzyme in the stomach lining cells, reducing acid production and allowing the parts of the stomach and food pipe damaged by acid to heal. It is helpful for conditions such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and peptic ulcers.
• Itopride: Itopride helps food move through the digestive system more efficiently. It increases the release of a neurotransmitter called acetylcholine, which promotes the contraction of muscles in the digestive tract. It is useful for conditions such as dyspepsia (indigestion) and delayed gastric emptying, where there might be difficulties in moving food through the stomach and intestines.
