• Depression: It is a serious medical disorder. It negatively affects the way you feel and the way you think and act. Serta-25 Tablet, an antidepressant medication, is used for the treatment of depression. Serta-25 Tablet modifies the brain chemistry in depressed patients.
• Obsessive-compulsive disorders (OCD): SSRIs are indicated for OCD. It is a common, chronic, long-term disorder characterised by repetitive thoughts or behaviours. The symptoms of OCD lead individuals to engage in repetitive actions or mental rituals. The dosage of Serta-25 Tablet depends on the severity of the disorder.
• Panic attacks: Pain attacks are sudden temporary feelings and strong reactions to ordinary situations. The Serta-25 Tablet can be used for panic attacks, making attacks less frequent and severe.
• Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD): PTSD is a disorder that occurs as a result of the stress and psychological impact caused by a traumatic event experienced in the past. Antidepressants like Serta-25 Tablet are indicated for PTSD. They help by controlling the symptoms of sadness, worry and anger. 
• Social anxiety disorder: It is characterised by an intense fear of being watched by someone else or judged by someone. SSRIs are indicated mainly for depression. But they are also indicated for social anxiety disorder. However, it may take several weeks for the medication to show its effectiveness in treating this condition.

• Serta-25 Tablet should be taken with a full glass of water. 
• Do not crush, break or chew the tablet. 
• It can be taken with or without food as directed by the doctor.
• It is essential to follow your doctor's instructions when taking medication. 
• Be sure to take the tablet precisely as prescribed.  

Serta-25 Tablet should be administered orally.

The active ingredient in Serta-25 Tablet is Sertraline. It belongs to a class of medications called SSRIs, which are effective in treating depression. • Protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep Serta-25 Tablet away from the reach and sight of children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Include fresh fruits, vegetables and whole grains in your diet.
• Avoid fried foods, fatty foods, pastries, and high-fat dietary foods, as they will worsen anxiety.
• Eat omega-3 fatty acid foods like fish, nuts, and olive oils.
• Follow a regular sleep pattern to avoid sleep deprivation and get good-quality sleep.
• Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption.
• Neurotransmitters are rich in amino acids. Eat foods rich in amino acids like meat, dairy products, and sometimes fruits and vegetables rich in amino acids.
• Engaging in meditation and yoga practices can contribute to leading a stress-free life.
• Complex carbohydrates are a good source of serotonin. Include foods rich in complex carbohydrates. 

• Serta-25 Tablet interferes with urine tests. Inform the laboratory pathologist about the consumption of Serta-25 Tablet for the interpretation of tests.
• Only drive or use machines once you know a Serta-25 Tablet may not affect your focus and attention.
• Talk to the doctor if you notice mood changes or get suicidal thoughts.
• Inform the doctor if you have less sex drive or difficulty in orgasm.
• Do not stop taking medicine without the doctor’s consultation.
